Set up location correctly

Allow alarm access when LessLate asks.

Allow location access while using the app.

When LessLate shows “One more setting”, open Settings, choose Location, select Always and keep Precise Location switched on.

Return to LessLate. The app will continue and set your reminder automatically when the permissions are ready.

Why does LessLate need Always Location access?

LessLate needs to recognise when you leave your starting location while the app is in the background or your iPhone is locked. Monitoring is used for an active reminder and ends when the journey finishes or you choose End for Today.

Does LessLate send my location anywhere?

No. Location readings and the saved starting location are processed on your iPhone. LessLate does not send them to us or to an analytics service.

What happens if I am still there?

LessLate reminds you again after around five minutes. It keeps the active journey running until it detects that you have left or you end the reminder.

How do I stop a reminder?

Open LessLate and choose End for Today. This stops that reminder and the location monitoring linked to it.

LessLate cannot detect that I have left. What should I check?

Open iPhone Settings, find LessLate, choose Location and confirm that Always is selected and Precise Location is on. Then return to the app and try a new reminder.
