1. Who we are
LessLate is operated by Fidelis Akoh in the United Kingdom. In this policy, “LessLate”, “we” and “us” refer to the operator of the LessLate app and website.

2. What the LessLate app uses
LessLate uses your chosen leave-by time, active reminder state, starting location and location readings to alert you and detect whether you have left. This information is processed on your iPhone.
The starting location and active reminder state may be stored locally so an active journey can continue or recover if the app is closed. They are cleaned up when the journey ends or is cancelled.
3. Information we do not collect through the app
LessLate does not:
- require an account or profile;
- send your location or reminder details to us;
- use advertising, tracking or analytics tools;
- sell or rent personal information; or
- use your information for automated profiling.
4. Permissions
LessLate requests alarm permission so it can alert you at your chosen time. It requests Always Location access with Precise Location enabled so it can detect departure while your iPhone is locked or the app is in the background.
You can change these permissions in iPhone Settings. Turning them off may prevent LessLate’s core reminder and departure features from working correctly.
5. If you contact support
If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include. We use this information to answer your question, investigate problems and maintain reasonable support records. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in supporting and improving LessLate.
We keep support correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes. Our email provider may process the message on our behalf under its own security and international data-transfer safeguards.
6. Website information
The LessLate website does not use an account, contact form, advertising tracker or analytics service. We do not add advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may process basic technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and protect the website.
7. Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal information. Information you send to support may be processed by service providers used for email and website hosting. Some processing may take place outside the United Kingdom, subject to the safeguards used by those providers.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal information we hold about you, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. Because LessLate does not receive your app location or reminder data, we cannot access or delete that information from our systems.

9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if LessLate’s features or data practices change. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised update date.
